Mechanical Design Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our busy design department for a permanent position. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor required to deliver workable designs to a wide variety of challenging briefs working in conjunction with our clients and in house team. This will involve analysis of the client brief, liaising and coordinating with clients, suppliers, fabrication and installation teams, production of general arrangement and detailed design drawings, relevant calculations and site surveys.

Knowledge and experience of lifting equipment and installations, advantageous but not essential. Preferred minimum qualification HND mechanical engineering.

The job will be based at our premises near Northampton, with occasional travel to customer sites. This is an excellent opportunity to develop as a Design Engineer in a friendly hard-working environment.
